Brokering a Better Tomorrow

Core Values of DBS

Global citizenship is at the core of our values at DBS, driving both our long term strategy and our tactical day to day decisions. To us, global citizenship covers a wide range of responsibilities. In our business, it means going beyond reducing waste throughout the lifecycle of consumer goods, to a fundamental paradigm shift in how we address secondary consumer goods. It means researching to develop better understanding of the issues surrounding the sustainability of post-consumer goods and it means educating ourselves, our business partners and consumers in general about the hard truths of a consumer society.

Global citizenship also means addressing the needs and improving the circumstances of those whose lives touch ours, by donating the infrastructure and expertise to help Thrift Institutions develop and implement new programs. If you would like to solicit DBS involvement in a specific Brokering a Better Tomorrow project, please email us at info@dbsthriftconnection.com with details about your idea.
